about

Oh man, this album... This album has been the biggest pain in the butt. I've spent around two months on this thing. This album started out as two albums, but over time I've removed songs from both. Since they were very short on their own, and they did fit together, I merged them. I started out with over an hour of music, and then went and cut songs out, edited them down, and almost drove myself mad trying to make some of them sound good. At one point, after working for three hours straight on one song, I was at the point of deleting it. I gave myself fifteen minutes. Luckily, I managed to make it a lot better so I didn't have to delete it. This whole album has been such a pain, but I am so glad I made it, and even more glad it is finally finished!

The name of the album came from a song I wrote. It went:
"I know I know I know I know
That it is painful to watch them go
But that's how it's meant to be"
The song was pretty much a letter to a conversation I overheard. The conversation was about friends leaving. At the time, that was all it was about, but now things have changed. Since then I've watched many people leave. It is hard, but you have to remember that they have to do what is best for themselves.

I've been holding off publishing this album for a while, and I'm glad I did. I've really made some drastic improvements to it. So now I'll stop rambling and let you listen to it. This is my first album to use 100% original work. No one else played an instrument, or created a sample, or anything. I hope you enjoy it!
